How Genius Leaders Master Their Time

"We are all equal in time, but separated by what we do with our time."

No matter who you are, no matter how wealthy you are, or how good looking you are, you cannot get or buy more time. Therefore, TIME is your most valuable asset.

The number one thing that has set me a part is how I invest my time. I read a book on time management years ago by Brian Tracy, entitled "Time Power." The book is filled with masterful time management principals that will help you create more effective time investment habits.

Here are Brian's 7 Tools for Personal Organization:

1. Prepare the night before
2. Schedule your time
3. Get an early start on your day
4. Use an organizing system
5. Do important work doing prime time
6. Use a recording device to record ideas and thoughts
7. Make air travel productive

Implement these tools into your daily routine to maximize your time and efforts. Your advantage in life and the market place will be determined in how you invest your time. Invest it wisely on the most important task during the day and you will reap a better harvest. Squander your time and you will have a life full of regrets.

Take a sheet of paper and do a time inventory. For three days, write on a sheet of paper 12:00am-12:00am, a 24 hour period, track what you did every hour. Review each night where you wasted time. This is a laborious task that will transform your life. What you will discover like I did when I did this years ago, where valuable time is being wasted each day.

As a quick example, what do you do while you drive to work, or ride the subway. Do you just drive or ride, or do you invest this time to listen to audios or read books that will make you better. I watch many people become frustrated  while waiting in line. This never happens to me, because I use my Smart Phone to get smarter. I simply listen to an audio while I stand there for those 20 minutes. So it turned into a learning session, instead of wasted time in the line. 

Take control of your life, by taking control of your time.
